Ocean Studio was founded on two observations.

Storage runs out, rooms have to do too many things, and it’s hard to picture what could be different. People often assume they need a bigger home, when thoughtful planning can make more of the one they have.

Homeowners are left to renovate on their own.
On large projects, owners have someone representing them. Homeowners renovating their house usually don’t — they’re left to find contractors, chase schedules and make decisions on their own.
Jen’s background combines project leadership with systems thinking, shaped by her experience managing complex projects and her education in urban systems and interdisciplinary planning. She brings people, priorities, and perspectives together while considering how spaces function, connect, and better serve the people who use them.
She’s practical by nature. That means starting with what already works, being straightforward about cost and effort, and recommending only what’s worth doing — ideas that can actually be built, by the right people, at a sensible budget.
